1. RULES:
This regatta will be governed by the rules as defined by the current edition of The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) for 2017 - 2020, the Thistle Class Association Constitution and by Laws, this Notice of Race, and the Sailing instructions
2. ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY:
Participation is open to all registered Thistle Class yachts and dues-paid members of the Thistle Class. R&D cards are required.
Deadline for registration is Saturday, June 1, 2019.
3. FEES:
3.1 Regatta fees are $85.00 per boat and include continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning and two dinners for Saturday night.
3.2 Additional dinners are available for purchase for $14.00
3.3 Box lunches are available for purchase for Saturday and Sunday for $8.00

SAILING INSTRUCTIONS:
Sailing Instructions will be available at on site registration and at the competitor’s meeting. Courses to be sailed will be described in the Sailing Instructions. Any changes to the Sailing Instructions will be announced at the Skipper’s Meeting and posted on shore on the GRSA bulletin board.
SCORING:
- 6.1 The Low Point System will be used for scoring the regatta
- 6.2 No races will be excluded from a boat’s score.
- 6.3 One race will constitute a regatta
- 6.4 A separate set of scores will be made for the Thistle Class Central Atlantic District Championship. Only dues-paid Thistle Class Members in the Central Atlantic District having a valid R&D Card are eligible to be scored

Friday, June 14th: Gates at GRSA open in afternoon for early arrivals.
Saturday, June 15th:
0900-1100 Continental Breakfast
0900-1100 Late Registration/Check In
1100 Competitor's Meeting
1200 Warning Signal, 1st Race, Additional Races to follow
1700 Happy Hour
1800 Dinner
Sunday, June 30th:
0830 Continental Breakfast
1000 Warning Signal, 1st Race, Additional Races to follow
No races to start after 1300
