DESCRIPTION The 82nd Annual One Design Regatta, hosted by Fishing Bay Yacht Club, will consist of two days of racing, fun and camaraderie. There may be multiple courses for eligible one-design classes. A Portsmouth Yardstick handicap class will be offered for boats that do not have enough boats to qualify for a one-design class.

REGISTRATION Advance registration is expected by all participants at www.fbyc.net, at the link on the event page under documents or directly on Regatta Network.
VOLUNTEER Sign up to volunteer for the Annual One Design Regatta.
CLASSES Any one design class having five or more boats registered, including but not limited to Flying Scot, Front Runner, ILCA Dinghy Standard, ILCA Dinghy Radial, J70, 420, and Optimist, will be eligible to run a class race. Optimists will be divided into Red, White, Blue, and Green fleets. The Portsmouth Number (D-PN) handicapping system will be used to score classes of unlike boats. A minimum of five entries is required for a class to become and remain eligible. Classes shall meet eligibility requirements no later than August 3, 2021. Boats whose class does meet the eligibility requirement will sail in the Portsmouth class. The Organizing Authority reserves the right to invite additional classes at its sole discretion
LATE REGISTRATION & CHECK IN Friday night 1700-2000 and Saturday 0800-0925
SKIPPERS' MEETING All classes will meet by virtually at a date and time to be specified by the Organizing Authority. This action is being done for the safety of competitors under social distancing guidelines. This may be reevaluated, as conditions warrant, later in the year.
RACING The warning signal for the first start on Saturday will be at 1100 followed by subsequent races. The warning signal for the first start on Sunday will be at 1100 followed by subsequent races.
FEE $25 adult; $20 Junior. Fees are paid only through registration on Regatta Network .

AWARDS Due to social distancing concerns awards may be presented virtually with prizes being mailed to the recipients as soon as possible after racing. Please check the event page for up to date information.
